Weekly Inspirational Message from April 26, 2009

I am love revealing itself through the unique frame that is you. You are love experiencing yourself through the unique set of filters you have created about yourself and love. Typically, you see these as two separate things; yourself and your interactions with love – how love feels to you, what love does to you, where you find love and how you express love or where you choose to withhold love.

Some of you identify love as empowering and joyous and some as painful or as making you weak with uncomfortable vulnerabilities. You typically choose where to extend love, what type and in what amounts and when to avoid, resist, deny or withhold it. When you allowed the authentic expression of love – especially when you perceive it has been received – you often experience joy. This is because love is not just something you offer, it is who you are. And when someone resists or rejects love, the pain you feel is because you perceive their rejection as a rejection of you. In truth, it is a rejection, on the part of the recipient ,of that love that he or she is – that we all are.

It is helpful for humanity to realize it is not personal because love is something more fundamental than the individuated expression and it has existed long before the personality creates itself and its resulting filters.

Often what you think is [authentic] love expressing itself is actually an energy diluted or contorted by the frame of personality through which it is expressing. And often it is received through an equally distorted lens. Hence the fears, vulnerabilities and longings regarding seemingly unrequited love. How intriguing to those of us who witness the constant drama of human love. It would be humorous but for the resulting pain. That which you so desperately seek, not only resides deep and eternally within you – It IS you – waiting for discovery (or actually re-discovery), claiming and expression.

If each of you would put intention and attention on your own spiritual reclamation process, the build-up of planetary emotional toxins could be resolved in a few cosmic breaths of humanity as love recognizes itself in its individuated expressions and as the truth that creates Oneness.

If you truly know you are Love, you would no longer yearn to receive it or conversely fear its withhold or rejection. You would simply be it and “bump” into it everywhere and in everything. And you would celebrate it in all its diverse expressions which are only limited by the imaginings of consciousness itself. Wherever you are on the continuum of love/fear (or joy/pain), you can shift it in the direction (and ultimate triumph) of Love through this discovery and claiming. Are you willing?
