Weekly Inspirational Message from October 4, 2009
(coming to and through Susi)
Reside for an extended moment in the space between breathes. This is where you can access the stillness that is the doorway to your spirit’s wisdom and desired expression. So many on the earth plane spend countless minutes agonizing about how to be a better person: kinder, smarter, more attractive or more successful. We would tell you that you that agonizing stems from measuring your ego self against the dictates of Spirit as defined through religious, cultural and philosophical lens. And while many of these dictates are based on Truth, their expressions through those lens are often skewed by the ego self of the organizations or cultures that are struggling in the same way as your individual ego-self. These comparisons often leave the small self feeling inadequate at best and hopeless at worst.
The irony is that all that you are striving, hoping, daring and/or praying to be- already is. Your beauty, wisdom, compassion and love are all parts of your eternal spirit, the authentic Self waiting to be birthed more and more fully in the context of a human form and life. And all the struggling, fearing, and even cursing of the human self or human condition typically serve to create an ego domination that makes it challenging indeed to hear, let alone heed the loving guidance of your own magnificent Self.
Remembering and surrendering to who you already are, always have been and will be, is the challenge. And one does not engage thusly by charging forward, pumped by an ego vision and determination that more often than not is fueled in fear, fury, competition and lack. Instead, surrender is something one opens to, trusting the Truth from which one’s being has taken form and life
Stillness is a means of reset. In stillness, one can lengthen the breath, quiet the mind, open the heart, and commune with that which is greater than self –whether you call it God, Goddess, Mother Earth or nature. In such a space, that soft voice of your inner being can be heard. Indeed, one can bathe in the radiance of one’s own true light. And every such “spirit bath” changes your biochemistry and upgrades possibilities.
During these somewhat turbulent times, we invite – indeed urge you to cultivate extended moments or pockets of stillness. There are many techniques available now designed to do just this. It matters far less which technique or which organization you utilize to do this. What matters is that the teachings or methodologies resonate with you both content and vibrationally speaking. And that you then engage in practices that guide you inward as well as upward.
You are already whole and holy, wise and beautiful beyond your current longings and imaginings. If you can accept this and accept your own invitation to greet, meet and merge with this aspect of Self, your human vehicle will reflect and offer this radiance as you navigate far more joyously and potently in your world – collectively creating that new age of which your sages speak.
